LISA KRIM:
Lisa Krim is an executive coach who works with a selective, small number of organizations and senior leaders to meet the challenges of leadership in complex landscapes across a range of sectors. She serves leaders who are committed to accelerating their own growth, to help them meet individual goals and optimize their organization’s effectiveness.
Lisa has an accomplished career advising senior leaders through complicated, high stakes matters, giving her a unique perspective on the pressures they face. As a senior woman in leadership, she has been committed to supporting other women and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
In addition to her coaching practice, Lisa currently serves as Senior Advisor to the President for Faculty Relations at Georgetown University. She leads efforts to develop University-wide faculty policy and supports and collaborates with campus and school faculty and administrators on a full range of faculty affairs issues, to advance the University’s mission, goals and strategic priorities. In this role she develops programs and training to prepare faculty to be effective leaders in administrative and governance roles. Her portfolio also includes leading in university-wide gender initiatives, including serving on the Gender Equity Task Force and advising the standing Gender Equity Committee; co-founding and serving as Chair of the Georgetown Women’s Alliance from 2014-2018; advising student leaders on the OWN IT Women’s Leadership Summit from 2014-2018; conceptualizing, building and then serving as Chair of the Advisory Board for the Gender+ Justice Initiative from 2015-2021; and serving as one of Georgetown’s liaisons to the United Nation’s HeForShe global initiative for gender equity. Lisa also served on the board of the Georgetown University Social Innovation for Public Good (SIPS) Fund from 2014-2022.
Prior to her current role, Lisa served in Georgetown’s Office of General Counsel for 15 years, serving as Interim Vice President and General Counsel from 2012-2013. Lisa also practiced law at O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., advising corporations and non-profits on labor and employment matters.
Lisa’s professional development has included earning an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching at Georgetown’s Institute for Transformational Leadership and graduating with the inaugural class of the SAGE leadership program for senior leaders at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business.
Lisa graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with a degree in public policy, and earned her law degree from UCLA School of Law, where she was elected to UCLA Law Review and Order of the Coif. She served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable J. Spencer Letts of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Lisa lives with her husband and children near Washington, D.C.
